Abstract design - Nordic Knots
Simple Object 18 is a study in proportion and materiality. Developed within Faaborg Arc Studio, this project represents a move toward the essential—stripping away the superfluous to find the core identity of an object. It is a testament to the belief that a simple form, when executed with precision, can command a space.
In this case, the design process and the visual presentation are inseparable. The object was conceived not just for its physical utility, but as a visual anchor that interacts with light and shadow in a gallery-like setting.
We approached the art direction with a "monochrome mindset," utilizing high-contrast photography to emphasize the silhouette and surface texture of the object. By controlling every variable—from the initial sketch to the final product shot—we ensured that Simple Object 18 delivers a message of calm, quality, and architectural intent.

Digital Art Curation for Samsung The Frame
A collaboration exploring the boundary between physical craftsmanship and digital innovation. As part of the "HiFi Frame" initiative with artist Carsten Beck, Faaborg Arc Studio focused on the visual translation of minimalist art into a digital living space.
We ensured that the geometric precision and textural depth of the original works were preserved for the digital canvas. By harmonizing technical clarity with artistic intent, we helped create a seamless experience where the TV functions as a high-end gallery piece, curated for the modern home.

Nordic Knots is defined by Scandinavian minimalism and high-quality textures. My work involved capturing the tactile essence of their collection through focused product photography and art direction.
Through a focus on light and architectural lines, we highlighted the interplay between the rugs and the spaces they inhabit. By treating the textiles as fundamental design elements rather than mere accessories, we created a visual narrative that speaks to an international audience of design enthusiasts.
