Simple Object 18 is a study in proportion and materiality. Developed within Faaborg Arc Studio, this project represents a move toward the essential—stripping away the superfluous to find the core identity of an object. It is a testament to the belief that a simple form, when executed with precision, can command a space.
In this case, the design process and the visual presentation are inseparable. The object was conceived not just for its physical utility, but as a visual anchor that interacts with light and shadow in a gallery-like setting.
We approached the art direction with a "monochrome mindset," utilizing high-contrast photography to emphasize the silhouette and surface texture of the object. By controlling every variable—from the initial sketch to the final product shot—we ensured that Simple Object 18 delivers a message of calm, quality, and architectural intent.
